Greenville, North Carolina - Nash, Nashville Hot Chicken restaurant located in uptown Greenville, is set to host an anti-human trafficking event: “Rockin’ For A Free World.” This free event will take place on October 29, 2022, from 11 a.m. to October 30, 2022, at 1:00 a.m. with artists of different styles and genres from across the east coast. A portion of the proceeds goes directly towards NC Stop Human Trafficking’s efforts to abolish human trafficking across North Carolina.

“When you’re given an opportunity, a platform to help out your community you should do so. Nash Hot Chicken has given my team and me a platform to bring awareness to an issue that needs the entire community to come together to stop,” states Ryan Griffin, owner-operator of Nash. “We are partnering with NC Stop Human Trafficking to bring a jam-packed day of music to raise awareness and hopefully help put an end to human trafficking. A crossroads of musical genres will be jamming all day at the benefit concert, truly bringing together different walks of life for a cause the whole community can get behind, ” said Griffin.

Nash offers live music from local artists such as Noah Jackson Cobb, Anna Park, and Paleface. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, merchandise from beer vendors, a donation station, and giveaways throughout the day with a variety of prizes. The grand prize includes a seven-night stay with Endless Vacation Rentals at one of their variety of resorts worldwide, provided by local real estate firm, Century 21 the Realty Group. The proceeds of the event and raffle will be donated directly to the NC Stop Human Trafficking organization.

"We cannot express how grateful we are to Nash for hosting and coordinating Rockin' For A Free World. We are heartened by their enthusiasm to see a state free of human trafficking, and we know that this vision can only be realized with the support and partnership of the community and compassionate businesses like Nash,” states Pam Strickland, Founder of North Carolina Stop Human Trafficking. “We are happy to walk alongside our community supporters so we can collectively have a hand in ending human trafficking in North Carolina for good.”

Nash’s Rockin’ for a Free World event will be held on October 29th, starting at 11 a.m with food, live music, and a variety of prizes. This benefit concert is free and open to the public, at Nash’s downtown Greenville location.
